What will I study?
Our qualification is made up of 2 units, that all students will need to complete.
Unit 1: Health, well-being and development throughout the lifespan
You will:
Learn about the different ways that individuals grow and develop during their life stages, including the different factors that can affect growth and development.
Unit 2: Outcome-focused and person-centered practice in health and social care
Learn about the value of person-centered practice, through application of how provision and practitioners’ roles meet the needs of individuals. You will also learn about the legislation and standards which need to be met.
Develop an understanding of issues around safeguarding and types of abuse.
