Supporting Every Student’s Journey with English
We provide dedicated support for all EAL students, whether they are new to English or developing competence. At Commonweal, we understand that every student’s needs are different, so our approach is built around them with a bespoke programme adjusted to the needs and proficiency of our EAL students.
Through appropriate testing and provision of differentiated private study sessions, delivered both individually and in small groups, we tailor learning to each student’s stage of language development. We build confidence alongside competence. Progress is closely and carefully tracked using a range of assessments, ensuring the support we offer remains responsive, purposeful, and genuinely effective over time.
Our goal with our EAL students is simple and effective: to help every student build genuine fluency in English, so they can access the curriculum independently, participate fully in school life, and achieve to the very best of their ability.
