Arbor Parent Portal and Making Payments

Commonweal School now uses Arbor for it’s Parent Portal which includes making payments for school lunches, trips, clubs, etc.  This has replaced School Gateway which is no longer in use at Commonweal – if you have this App installed, please remove it – the school will not respond to any messages sent via this App from this point forward.

The Arbor Parent Portal is for parents/guardians to access via a laptop or computer to view information about your child at Commonweal along with making payments.

To setup your account, you just need to set a password. You can do this by going to login.arbor.sc, clicking on ‘Forgotten Password?’ and following the instructions on screen.  You will need to use the e-mail address that we have registered for you as a parent/guardian for a child here at The Commonweal School.

Please note, if you have a child at another school that already uses Arbor, you will receive an password recovery email from Commonweal and the school(s) that your other child(ren) attends (or did attend).  Please only use the email and click the link within that has come from Commonweal School.  You will be prompted to set a new password.   This password reset process can be done at anytime.

Once you have set yourself a password, you can now install and use the Parent Portal App as detailed below.

Parent Portal Mobile Phone App

The Arbor Parent App is a mobile version of the Parent Portal for use on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

For Android devices, go to your Play store and search for ‘Arbor’.  Ensure you click on the ‘Arbor Parent & Guardian Portal’ App that will be listed and click install to download and install on your device.

For Apple devices (iOS), go to your App Store and search for ‘Arbor’. Ensure you click on the ‘Arbor Parent & Guardian Portal’ App that will be listed and click install to download.

When you download and open the Parent App for the first time, you will receive a prompt to allow notifications from Arbor. Make sure you select Allow to enable your school to send you push notifications. This will ensure you receive a notification when you have a new In-app message.

If you have other children at another school that also uses Arbor, you will be asked to select the school that you wish to interact with.

To make payments, including lunch payments go to the Accounts (All Students) section of the App to make payments.  This is detailed here
