Commonweal Sixth Form – Exam Results 2025

The whole of the Commonweal community would like to congratulate all of our sixth form students on an excellent set of exam results and outstanding achievements this academic year. We continue to build upon our strong reputation in supporting students, from a wide range of starting points, to achieve their academic and personal potential.  As always, we have been impressed by the commitment, focus and ambition of our students in successfully making another important step towards their goals. As such, we are delighted to see our highest ever number of students progress onto higher-level degree courses, apprenticeships and employment.

Headteacher, Chas Drew, said “We are proud of the achievements of all of our students and would like to thank parents and carers for their support throughout their young person’s time at Commonweal. As always, at this time of year, our focus is upon ensuring all of our students are well supported in their successful transition to their next steps”.

Perhaps most significantly, this is likely to be one of the best ever sets of results for Commonweal Sixth Form students in terms of the progress students have made from a highly diverse range of starting points. With over a third of all grades received at A*- B, alongside very high pass rates, we are very happy to see that C6 has continued to support students in gaining academic success and in their acceptance of a wide and exciting range of Higher Education and vocational pathways.

There were notable individual performances, for progress and levels of attainment, for many students from across the cohort. These included: Molly Checchia (A*, A*, A, C), Pranav Gopal (A*, A*, A), Rhys Lucas (A*, A, A), Harmoni Lui (C, Distinction*, Distinction), Maddie Hallatt (B, B, C) and Anastasia Moore (A*, A, A). Initial analysis of university destinations suggests our highest ever number of students will have been successful in securing their place at university across a diverse range of prestigious academic and creative courses as well as a range of highly competitive apprenticeship places in engineering, business and creative careers. We are also confident that students planning a gap year before taking further steps are now doing so from a position of understanding and strength.

Commonweal Sixth Form remains committed to fully support its students in ensuring that they are able to make that next important step in their education or career.
